Unpacking Your Rug
To facilitate easy and pain-free ground delivery of our larger rugs, we have begun offering folded shipping as an option for available rugs. If the folded shipping option is available, you will see the option to select folded shipping at checkout.
Once delivered and placed in your home, any lines or ripples you see are simply part of the process—they will relax beautifully with time and care. Most rugs settle within 1–2 weeks, revealing the full character and craftsmanship we hope you’ll enjoy for years.
Unpacking Your Folded Rug
1. Unroll and Rest
Place your rug flat, with a rug pad beneath for comfort and stability.
2. Reverse Roll
Gently roll the rug in the opposite direction of the fold, leave it for a day, then unroll.
3. Apply Gentle Weight
Use books or furniture to smooth corners and edges as it settles.
With a little patience, your rug will soon lay smooth and true to the artistry with which it was made.
