Jaipur Living Sponsors ASID Gather 2022 Student Attendees, Sponsorship Gives Four Students Opportunity to Further Design Industry Education

Acworth, GA (September 6, 2022)- Jaipur Living will provide four interior design students from The Ohio State University with an all-expense paid trip to Miami to attend GATHER 2022, the National Conference by the American Society of Interior Designers. In addition, these students will be granted membership to ASID for a year.

“There is often conversation around the future of design. We want to help push that forward by investing in the designers of tomorrow. Many students are just an opportunity away from greatness,” said Sasha Wallace, Jaipur Living’s director of marketing.

In addition to its vast collection of rugs, Jaipur Living also produces pillows, poufs, and throws using strict ethical standards. N.K. Chaudhary founded Jaipur Rugs in 1978 working beside nine artisans on two looms. He led the company with dignity, subverting centuries-old practices that had shunned employing the poor, women, and artists, and with the commitment of fostering craftsmanship and the age-old art of handmade rugs. Today, led by Chaudhary’s daughters Asha Chaudhary (CEO) and Archana Chaudhary (COO), Jaipur Living is recognized as an innovator in the design world partnering with talented designers and artisans across the globe.

GATHER, occurring September 21-24, 2022, is an event created for all sectors of the interior design community, from students to practitioners, offering opportunities to learn and engage in relevant educational content. Students will have the chance to connect with one another and mentors in the field while experiencing programming and interactive installations designed to encourage collaborations.
