Quality Construction
In a meticulous 10-step process, crafting a single hand-knotted rug takes months to complete. With some designs boasting over one million knots, this intricate artistry and precision are upheld by a dedicated community of 50,000+ highly skilled artisans in India.
How it's made: On a loom set up with warps, an artisan ties individual knots on each warp thread, going line by line. Once a line is complete, it is locked in place with a thread of weft, before the next line of knotting begins.
Alpaca Wool
Revered for its sumptuous texture and hypoallergenic properties, Alpaca exudes an air of sophistication and grace. Alpaca fibers are exceptionally soft- often compared to cashmere in terms of feel- yet strong & durable, making it a sought-after material for both its functional and aesthetic properties. This softness is due to the fineness of the individual fibers, which are typically less coarse than sheep's wool. The smooth surface of the fibers also contributes to a silky feel, making alpaca products comfortable against the skin. Lightweight yet warm
Did you know: Alpaca fibers contain microscopic air pockets, providing exceptional insulation against both cold and heat, ensuring comfort in every season.
