Know The Artisan

Ganga is a 35-year-old weaver from Ajeetgarh, Rajasthan. She is a mother of eight children, two daughters and 6 sons, and couldn't be happier with all the hustle and bustle around the home. And this is precisely why she weaves. To help support her large family in the best way she can. She learned the art of weaving from her family when she was very young by spending time at the loom with her father. He would look after her and her siblings while he would work, so they all picked up the skill very early. She is proud to be a weaver because of one main reason: her children. She has the opportunity to look after them with all her heart, while working with all her heart.
