Product Details
Maya named her Manchaha after her daughter who was only 9 months old when the rug was in the making. During that time, her mother-in-law took care of the baby while she spent her day at the loom. Maya allowed her imagination to take shape and weaved waves, leaves, branches, mountains, and stream motifs with blue as the dominant color. She says, "I designed the rug and my mother-in-law followed my footsteps to weave."
