There's a rhythmic flow to the threshing of grain, and that pattern is shaped by the tool used for the task: a flat board with individually inset carved stones. It's the forms of these honed rocks that inspired the Reliquary pillow, with its hyper-textured finish. Like the threshing stones too, it isn't the individual yarns, but rather the collective functioning together that make it a distinctive whole.
